Dry laser printers achieve high-speed, high-precision printing using electrostatic imaging technology. Their core components include a laser scanning unit, a photosensitive drum, and a developing unit. The laser scanning unit, consisting of a laser diode (5-30mW), a polygonal mirror, and a lens assembly, achieves a scanning accuracy of up to 1200dpi and forms an electrostatic latent image on the photosensitive drum surface. The photosensitive drum, coated with an organic photoconductive material and boasting a lifespan of approximately 20,000-50,000 pages, attracts toner and forms the image. The developing unit comprises a magnetic roller, a toner hopper, and a doctor blade. Toner particles are 5-10 microns in diameter, ensuring uniform development.
Auxiliary systems include a fusing module, a paper transport system, and a control circuit. The fusing module utilizes a combination of a heated roller (180-220°C) and a pressure roller. Select models support low-temperature fusing (approximately 160°C), which is energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. The paper transport system supports a wide range of media (60-220g/m²), and the control circuit response time is less than 1 second, ensuring efficient data transfer.
Dry laser printers are environmentally friendly, with a toner utilization rate exceeding 95%, making them suitable for office and professional printing applications. Regular cleaning of the laser window and photosensitive drum can extend the life of the device.
