Whether to charge for CT film printing depends on the circumstances:
Electronic films: Most hospitals provide free electronic reports, which can be viewed via mobile phones or self-service kiosks at no additional cost.
Physical films: Patients must apply for and pay for these. Fees vary by region and hospital, but are generally around 20 yuan per film.
Policy Changes
Some regions (such as Anhui and Jiangsu) will implement new regulations starting in 2025, explicitly removing the cost of physical films from the examination and replacing them with a pay-as-you-go fee.
